FMC Automotive is a California Certified Gold Shield Smog Check Station and Licensed for Smog Check Inspection & Repair.

All California-registered vehicles are required to receive an annual inspection. All inspections include a comprehensive safety inspection. A Smog Check is required every other year (biennially) as part of the vehicle registration process for vehicles that are more than 6 years old. Results will be electronically sent to the DMV and you will be given a receipt and a copy of the test results, also known as a Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR). If your vehicle fails to pass, FMC Automotive will give you a copy of the report and inform you why your vehicle did not hold up to the test standards. In this case, your vehicle will need to be repaired and retested in order to be registered.
