If your check engine light is on, you should have it checked by an auto mechanic.

People usually panic when they see this light come up and think their vehicle is going to have a major break down. The light can come on for any number of reasons and does not necessarily mean your vehicle will have a major problem. If your vehicle seems to be running fine at this time, it probably isn’t an emergency to take in right away, but do have the problem diagnosed by a reputable mechanic in a timely manner to avoid complications or more costly repairs due to ignoring the light.

All parts have a minimum of 2 year warranty (some parts might qualify for lifetime warranty).

With the purchase of a brake repair on the day of the inspection, brake inspection is free.

Yes! Call us and let us know you’re in need of a tow to the shop. If you are going through insurance, the tow bill will be billed directly to them. If you decide to pay out of pocket, the tow bill will be added to the final bill and due at the time the repair is complete.

At FMC Automotive, we do everything in our power to ensure your vehicle is in great condition as your vehicle leaves our shop, but if you notice anything that doesn’t seem right or experience any problems, please do not hesitate to give us a call or stop back in our shop.

Oil change with appointment at FMC Automotive usually takes no more than 30 minutes.

All technicians at FMC Automotive are ASE-Certified. ASE’s program is voluntary, technicians who have taken the time and expense to earn ASE certification can be counted on to have a strong sense of pride in their accomplishments, which should be good news for consumers.

While these generated codes simplify diagnosis, they often do not pinpoint exactly what is wrong but rather give the technician a general idea in which area the trouble code came from. The auto technician must then physically and visually examine the area to detect the problem and determine the source of failure.

Follow your vehicle’s manufacturer’s recommendation from your owner’s manual. As a general rule, have your wheel aligned every 10,000 miles or at least once a year.

If you need a rental car, we can help you make the necessary arrangements through our trusted partners. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy or if you are the claimant. Check your policy and/or call your insurance company to find out if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are.
